Could there have been less fatalities if they had done it differentley?
D- Day which was also known as Operation Overlord was a huge battle on the beaches of Normandy fought between the Germans and the allies of Canada, UK and USA. They were taken by boat to the beaches in which the battle was going to be fought. The five beaches were known as Utah, Omaha, Juno, Sword and Gold. Many people still feel this was what created the end result of the war.
