BIG QUESTION: What would of occurred if the Germans figured out the secret message "NUTS" ?
Summary: There were two reasons for going to North Africa, one being access to the Suez Canal and control over Oil. This could be seen as one of Britains turning points in the war. They sent a message saying nuts that confused the germans and bought lots of time.
