BIG Question: How would the world be different today, if Eisenhower did not apply the doctrine of containment?
Summary: Was elected president in 1952 and promised to end the Korean war, and made many efforts to stop the spread of communism world wide. He was successful in doing so as he created and implemented the doctrine of containment.
