Life is beautiful. This movie in my opinion was the best so far. It revealed the importance of innocence and how fragile this it truly is. The father "Guido" did an amazing job at shielding his son from the horrors of the war and how cruel people are, he casted a vail of humor to protect what he viewed as most important in the world, his son's innocence. Guido was an amazing character and father, he sacrificed everything to make sure his wife was happy and his son remained ignorant to what was occurring around him. What I found powerful and why I enjoyed this movie so much was the fact that he remained so strong when undergoing the hardships, he always kept a smile on his face, even at the end. The biggest message I got from this movie was how innocence can be taken away so easily and quickly and that the battle to maintain it is worth it at all costs, and that a fathers love is unmatchable and can change the world, even if its one persons world. Guido changed and essentially saved Joshua and his innocence.
