The Russian revolution had many difficult outcomes that the people had to undergo, and they dealt with many struggles. Lenin faced and proposed ideas that were hard to accomplish as they were not easy to agree with and carry out. Some of the new "ideas" that had been introduced by Lenin were mandatory labour, nationalized industry as well as suppressed trade, people and peasants who owned farms had to give away produce and could only keep enough to survive, this was all for the cause. Lenin's cause was called War Communism. As a result of War communism many people were frustrated and disagreed with what was happening people did not make as much money everything was equal and there was nothing to strive for, no motivation. This changed the people's view on communism and later impacted Stalin and Trotsky's ideas when Lenin died. They had to make Communism more Capitalistic. They did this by rewarding people when they met quotas and did well.
