Hitler is well known all over the world, the many atrocities he committed is also well known, however not many know how he came into power. Hitler's rise to power began slowly as he developed a hatred for the Treaty of Versailles until finally he took steps to "fix" what he believe needed to be. One thing that Adolf Hitler did to try and gain popularity was the Beer Putsch Hall, it was essentially a speech and rally he did to get people on his side, it seemed to be successful, however they were drunk. So the next day when he went to the German government for them to hear is "wonderful" plan not many people showed up and he was shut down immediately. However Hitler was a persistent person and started to learn and copy other leaders and philosophers ideas. Hitler created a group known as the Brown shirts and they would go around intimidating people and became useful in getting the Nazi party votes. Eventually 12 members of the German Nazi party were elected into government known as the Reich-stag and this was just the beginning. 1933 a communist party member was blamed for burning down the Reich-Stag and this set in motion the hatred of communism. Another measure Hitler did to obtain power was through the use of threats and lies he pitted the government against communism and by that he got something known as the enabling act to be passed, and this eventually led his Nazi party to be the only one allowed as he banned all other parties. A major step that led to his rise of power was the fact that he convinced the president Hindenburg to make him chancellor and this put in motion his actual use and ability to use power and change the country.Hindenburg dies, and he uses the enabling act to become president and the rest is history.
